Adult Respiratory Care Practitioner - Per Diem

This position requires a 12-hour shift from 06:00 PM to 06:30 AM.

Job Description

The Adult Respiratory Care Practitioner provides specialized respiratory care to adult patients as part of a comprehensive care team. This role involves administering treatments, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and assess patient respiratory status and progress.
• Educate patients and families about respiratory health and self-management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to create effective care plans.
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Respiratory Care Practitioner's license as required by state regulations.
• Completion of Prime CA Sexual Harassment Prevention Training.
• COVID-19 vaccination and other vaccinations as listed in onboarding requirements.
• Successful completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam and Prime Skills Checklist.
• Valid Driver's License or State ID.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
