Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Critical Care unit (CICU) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. The role requires expertise in managing critically ill patients, utilizing advanced medical equipment, and demonstrating strong clinical judgment and skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the CICU.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry, hemodynamic measurements, and vital signs.
• Administer medications and titrate vesicant medications as required.
• Manage sedation and paralytic medications.
• Assist with complex procedures including central line insertion, cardioversion, and chest tube maintenance.
• Utilize advanced equipment such as ventilators, CRRT, IABP, and Impella.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License in the state of NC.
• ICU experience is required; familiarity with advanced technologies and procedures preferred.
• CCRN certification is appreciated.
• Experience with Impella, CRRT, and IABP is desirable.
