Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our high-volume, comprehensive stroke center with a strong focus on patient safety and quality care. You will be part of an exceptional team in a fast-paced environment known for its collaborative spirit and commitment to serving a diverse community.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients.
• Ensure patient safety and satisfaction through AIDET and respectful behavior.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care.
• Utilize advanced nursing skills in a Level II trauma center.
• Participate in the coaching and feedback process within the team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an emergency department setting.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, and ENPC required before hire.
• Experience in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center preferred.
• Teamwork mentality with the flexibility to work across all sections of the ED.
