Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (08:00 - 18:00) - 7 on/7 off Day schedule

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to join our inpatient team. The successful candidate will provide evaluations and treatments for patients with various conditions, including dysphagia, cognitive-communication disorders, and more. Ideal candidates will demonstrate expertise in bedside swallow evaluations, Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS), and developing individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with speech and language disorders.
• Evaluate and treat patients with dysphagia and other swallowing disorders.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on speech and language disorders and treatment processes.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Valid Idaho SLP license and required certifications: BLS, CCC-SLP, MBSImP, Vital Stim (all must be in hand at the time of submission).
• Experience in acute care and adult rehabilitation is preferred.
• Knowledge of charting systems, preferably Epic.
