Schedule/Shift

Shift is from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with scheduled call at night and on the weekend. The unit operates 7 days per week.

Job Description

The Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) is seeking an ECHO Tech to join its dynamic team. You will play a vital role in providing ultrasound testing primarily for patients with cardiac concerns. The position requires experience with patients across all age groups, from neonatal to geriatric, and may involve exposure to body fluids and blood in a high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound procedures as needed.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, adhering to protocols for stat procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient tests and results using the established EMR system.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience or completion of an accredited course in echocardiology.
• Experience in high-acuity settings and working effectively with various patient populations.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current registry or certification in Adult Echo (ARDMS or ARRT).
• Current registry or certification in vascular ultrasound.
• Must be working toward attaining registries in all applicable areas.
• BLS certification required.
