Day shift: 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team. This role requires high-risk experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The nurse will function as a Baby Nurse during delivery and will continue care for the newborn until transfer to postpartum. Additionally, nurses must float between units as required, including Antepartum and Postpartum, and may also float to sister facilities.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and provide newborn care including assessments and injections.
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and postpartum care.
• Utilize electronic fetal monitoring and EPIC charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required.
• Should possess high-risk experience.
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP; Preferred: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate.
• Valid compact RN license required at submission.
