7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, working every other weekend and holidays in rotation.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide patient care in a mixed ICU setting, managing 1-3 ICU patients. The nurse will be involved in a bedside shift report method for patient hand-offs and is expected to float within various departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Caring for ICU patients, including those on ventilators.
• Administering advanced hemodynamic monitoring and CRRT.
• Performing procedures related to post-operative care and advanced cardiac procedures.
• Providing respiratory treatments, including inhalers and nebulizers.
• Reading telemetry strips and monitoring patient vitals.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 36 months of RN experience with at least 12 months in an ICU.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred, ideally in a facility using Meditech.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required.
• BSN is preferred; advanced certifications and TNCC certification are also preferred.
