7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including every other weekend and holidays.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will work in a mixed ICU setting with a focus on providing high-quality patient care. The nurse will handle responsibilities related to administering treatments, monitoring patient vitals, and providing support to patients and families. Bedside shift reports will be conducted with each patient transfer of care.

Responsibilities

• Manage care for up to 1-3 ICU patients, including those on ventilators.
• Perform bedside shift report and ensure thorough handoff of patient information.
• Administer appropriate treatments including respiratory treatments.
• Handle advanced procedures such as CRRT, hemodynamics, and phlebotomy.
• Monitor telemetry strips and respond to changes in patient conditions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 36 months of RN experience, with at least 12 months in an ICU setting.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred, particularly in facilities using Meditech.
• Must hold BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications.
• Experience with neuro procedures and advanced hemodynamics is a plus.
• BSN and advanced certifications preferred, TNCC certification also advantageous.
