ICU Registered Nurse - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a mixed ICU setting. The candidate must be comfortable managing patients on ventilators and providing bedside shift reports. The environment will involve a mix of neuro and cardiovascular ICU cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for 1-3 ICU patients, including those on ventilators.
• Conduct bedside shift reports during patient handoffs.
• Proficiently read telemetry strips and administer respiratory treatments.
• Manage advanced procedures including CRRT, hemodynamic monitoring, and phlebotomy.
• Participate in post-op care for CABG and neuro procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 36 months of RN experience, including at least one year in an ICU setting.
• Previous successful travel nursing assignment preferred, ideally in a facility using Meditech.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale.
• Preferred: BSN and advanced certifications including TNCC.
