LPN Part Time Nights

Part Time Nights with shifts of 2x8s or 3x8s, every other weekend, and holidays required.

Job Description

Under the direction of licensed nursing personnel, the LPN will perform direct and indirect resident care, ensuring to meet the specific needs outlined in each resident's plan of care. The LPN will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to care for both adult and geriatric populations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, grooming, and toileting needs.
• Maintain resident safety and environment per established protocols, ensuring prompt response to call lights and alarms.
• Ensure residents' nutritional needs are met, respecting individual preferences and choices.
• Support residents' rehabilitative needs as outlined in their care plans, incorporating restorative practices.
• Report any changes in resident physical, emotional, and psychosocial status to the Charge Nurse promptly.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current New York LPN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or RQI specifically).
• One year of experience as an LPN in a long-term care (LTC) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) capacity.
