Job Description

The Surgical Technician performs a wide variety of duties to assist the circulator and surgeon in the care of the surgical patient. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe and sterile environment for the patient at all times, working under the direction of qualified operating room personnel. The position includes an on-call component, requiring one weeknight call per week and weekend call every fifth weekend.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the circulator and surgeon during surgical procedures.
• Maintaining a sterile environment in the operating room.
• Preparing equipment and instruments for surgeries.
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal healthcare regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Candidates must have relevant certification and experience in a surgical technician role, as well as compliance with all state and federal healthcare standards.
