Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 06:45 AM - 05:15 PM

• On-Call Requirements: 1-2 stay-late call shifts per week from 5:15 PM - 7:15 PM
• 1-3 12-hour call shifts per 6-week period
• Weekends and holidays: Either 7 AM - 7 PM or 7 PM - 7 AM

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in our medical/surgical unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patient needs, planning and implementing appropriate nursing interventions, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes. This role requires excellent clinical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
• Monitor and assess patient status, documenting any changes promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Relevant clinical experience in medical/surgical nursing preferred.
