Multimodality Tech (CT/X-Ray) - Night Shift

Schedule

This position requires a night shift, working 3x12 hours from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Multimodality Technologist will provide high-quality imaging services and patient care in both X-ray and CT modalities. The technologist should be adept at explaining procedures to patients, ensuring they understand the processes involved, and achieving competency in the execution of these imaging procedures. Images must be produced for the interpretation and/or request of a licensed practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality imaging services in X-ray and CT.
• Educate patients on procedures and ensure their understanding.
• Produce images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to guarantee optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Must be registered in Radiography (ARRT) (R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT) (C).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (pending certifications must be obtained within 2-3 weeks of hire).
• Experience with Siemens equipment and Epic charting is highly preferred.
• Previous experience in Emergency, Trauma, Pediatrics, and Orthopedic exams is advantageous.
