Multimodality Technologist (CT/X-Ray) – Day Shift

Schedule

3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Multimodality Technologist provides quality imaging and patient care within X-ray and CT. The technologist must effectively explain the procedures to patients and ensure their understanding and competence regarding the procedures being performed. The technologist is responsible for producing images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures in both X-ray and CT modalities.
• Effectively communicate with patients about procedures and ensure their comfort.
• Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
• Possibly float to similar units as needed within the facility.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field; first-timers may be accepted but are not preferred.
• Must be registered in both Radiography (ARRT) (R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT) (C).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (pending certifications accepted if obtained within 2-3 weeks of hire).
• Experience with Emergency, Trauma, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, and Siemens equipment preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC and PACS systems is highly desirable.
• Agency must provide radiation badges as required by the facility.
