Travel Registered Nurse - ICU - Night Shift

Job Description

Join our team as a Travel Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Neuro ICU, where you will provide critical care to patients with complex cardiac and neurological conditions. This position ensures a high level of patient care while operating advanced medical equipment in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Handle advanced equipment including Impella, Balloon pumps, CRRT, and EVDs.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and provide bedside shift reports.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure the highest standards of care and patient safety.
• Maintain accurate medical records using the Meditech EMR system.
• Conduct patient education and provide support to families during critical situations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of current hospital ICU experience required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred.
• Prior experience with Meditech is a plus.
