Registered Nurse - Telemetry/Med-Surg

Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts; 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Telemetry and Med-Surg will provide high-quality care to patients within the designated unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical-surgical nursing, with expertise in telemetry monitoring and patient care protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Provide patient education and support to patients and families.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with standards and protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Telemetry and Medical-Surgical nursing.
• Active Ohio RN license or a compact state license required at time of submission.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start.
• One recent professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required.
