Registered Nurse - Respiratory Unit (Nights)

Schedule

Nights 7p - 7:30a with every other weekend required. There is no call requirement.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will primarily work on the Respiratory Unit, where COVID patients are admitted. The RN may also float between various Med-Surg units including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and Emergency Department/Med-Surg boarders.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Respiratory Unit.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including the ability to read telemetry.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Float to other Med-Surg units as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in Ohio.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience.
• Proficiency in Epic EMR is required (no refresher classes or 1:1 assistance will be provided).
