Day Shift Neuro Telemetry Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12-Hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00, with weekends required every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Neuro Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in neurology to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The RN will be responsible for monitoring and managing post-surgical neurology patients and other various neurology diagnoses. Proficiency in the NIH scale and familiarity with telemetry is crucial for this role.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' neurological status and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatment protocols as prescribed.
• Assist with post-operative care of neurosurgery patients.
• Utilize telemetry equipment to monitor patients' heart rhythms.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation using Epic.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a telemetry/neurology setting.
• Active and valid state RN license (Compact license preferred).
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS are required.
• Proficiency in NIHSS is mandatory.
• Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, craniotomy care, and telemetry is highly preferred.
