Travel RN - Labor and Delivery

7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including weekends and rotating shifts as required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a travel position in Labor and Delivery. The ideal candidate will possess high-risk obstetrical experience, particularly in high-volume settings. This role involves working in a high-risk obstetric unit where patient ratios vary based on clinical needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to high-risk obstetric patients.
• Assist with cervical ripening, triage, and labor management including high acuity cases.
• Prepare and circulate in cesarean sections and recovery of high acuity patients.
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPNS.
• Float to antepartum unit as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license with at least 2 years of high-risk Labor and Delivery experience.
• Intermediate AWONN fetal monitoring certificate.
• Experience with cervical ripening, pitocin, triage, and high-acuity patient recovery.
