Registered Nurse - Mixed Critical Care Unit

This position involves 3 × 12-hour shifts per week in the NOC (19:00 – 07:30) schedule.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care in a Mixed Critical Care Unit, handling a diverse range of cases including Sepsis, ARDS, CKD, MOF, overdoses, OUD/SUD, and Bone Marrow Transplant complications. The unit accommodates both medical and surgical patients, with a focus on telemetry and float to medical-surgical areas and the Emergency Department for admission holds only.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a critical care setting.
• Monitor and manage high-acuity patients with complex medical needs.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as required.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Previous travel experience is preferred.
