Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pediatric Care

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide exceptional care in a high-level Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This position requires a strong background in pediatric care, with a focus on delivering advanced respiratory therapies to critically ill children.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and evaluate patients' responses.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and plan patient care.
• Perform advanced respiratory care techniques in NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings.
• Monitor patients and adjust therapies as necessary based on clinical data.
• Educate families on respiratory care practices and equipment usage.
• Assist in the development of treatment protocols and quality improvement initiatives.

Schedule

This is a night shift position, operating on a 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:30) with potential options for 4x12-hour shifts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pediatrics-focused respiratory therapy role.
• Active Ohio RRT license is required at the time of submission.
• Current certifications in BLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC.
• Experience with high-level pediatric care in NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings.
