NICU Respiratory Therapist - Part-Time Night Shift

Schedule

1900-0730, Monday through Thursday. No weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled NICU Respiratory Therapist to join our team on a part-time night shift basis. This role focuses on providing exceptional respiratory care to neonates in the NICU. Agency staff may be floated to another unit or care site within the health system to maintain contracted hours based on operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy and care for neonates in the NICU.
• Conduct assessments and interventions tailored to the needs of each patient.
• Collaborate with medical teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapeutic interventions as necessary.
• Participate in the training and education of staff and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Experience working in a NICU setting is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Additional certifications related to neonatology may be beneficial.
