Pediatric Critical Care Registered Nurse

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Critical Care Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a dynamic environment. The nurse will be responsible for caring for pediatric patients with critical health conditions and will be required to float to NICU or other units within their skill set as needed. Orientation will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as per physician's orders
• Manage ventilated patients and provide respiratory care
• Perform critical care procedures, including central line and PICC line management
• Administer blood and blood products, and manage chest tubes
• Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs
• Provide family education and support during critical situations

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pediatric Critical Care
• Previous charge experience preferred
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• NRP and CRRT certifications preferred
• Active compact nursing license required
