Endoscopy RN - Day Shift

Job Description

This is a 13-week contract position for an Endoscopy RN. The role will primarily involve providing high-quality nursing care in an endoscopy setting, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical history and needs prior to procedures.
• Administer medications and provide care during endoscopic procedures.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any changing conditions.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families about procedures and care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent Endoscopy experience.
• Current Ohio RN License or a compact state RN License is required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required and must be active.
• Reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required.

Schedule

Day shifts typically range from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential variations discussed during interviews. Call shifts required after hours and on weekends.
