CT Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

The shift is a 4x10-hour schedule, from Tuesday to Friday, 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM.

Job Description

The CT Technologist will perform high-quality CT examinations in accordance with established protocols for a diverse patient population, from neonate to geriatric, ensuring the clarity and accuracy of imaging for physician interpretation. The role requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to function effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CT examinations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and standards.
• Prepare and educate patients regarding procedures while ensuring their comfort.
• Maintain patient records and documentation in compliance with facility protocols.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ensure seamless workflow within the department.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience required.
• ARRT (CT) and SCRQSA (CT) certifications are mandatory.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Experience with Epic and Sectra PACS is essential.
• Radiation badge must be provided by the agency.
