This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

4x10-hour shift: Tuesday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM, with holiday rotation required.

Job Description

The CT Scan Technologist will perform imaging procedures accurately and efficiently in a Level 1 Trauma facility. The role requires interfacing with patients and providing high-quality care while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and the standards of the imaging department.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CT scans on patients, ensuring quality imaging results.
• Prepare and administer contrast media when required.
• Maintain equipment and follow radiation safety practices.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Document procedures accurately in the charting system (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Scan Technologist; 6 months of experience in Level 1 Trauma preferred.
• ARRT RT (R) (CT) certification required.
• BLS certification is necessary.
• State license in South Carolina required.
• Experience with Siemens imaging equipment and PIV.
