PCU RN for Inpatient Observation Unit

Schedule

Night shift, 12 hours, 4 days a week.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our fast-paced Inpatient Observation Unit. The unit consists of 28-beds, providing care for lower to higher acuity patients, including medical beds and trauma overflow beds. RN's may be required to float to other areas based on patient acuity and unit needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the observation unit.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changing patient acuity.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure patient needs are met.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care and interventions appropriately.
• Assist with patient education and support for recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an acute care setting.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required.
• TNCC certification preferred.
• Current RN license to practice.
