Med/Surg Registered Nurse - Inpatient Observation Unit

This position requires working a night shift with a 12x4 schedule.

Job Description

The Med/Surg Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing care in a fast-paced inpatient observation unit. This role involves managing a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels and may require floating to other areas of competency as needed.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients in a 28-bed Inpatient Observation Unit near the Emergency Department
• Manage medical beds and trauma overflow beds
• Assess and respond to changing patient acuity from lower to higher levels

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience in a similar specialty within an acute care setting
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• TNCC certification preferred
