D/E/N Rotating Shift Schedule, Every Other Weekend (EOW), Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per Unit Needs

Job Description

The ICU Float Registered Nurse position offers exposure to various ICU specialties including MICU, SICU, Respiratory Special Care, and Surgical Progressive Care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills while remaining current in critical care knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in intensive care units with the greatest staffing need.
• Utilize strong critical thinking skills in patient assessments and care planning.
• Effectively communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain organization in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License in New York (NY License ONLY)
• Minimum of two (2) years of ICU acute care experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
