Day shifts, 3x12-hour schedule from 07:00 to 19:30.

Job Description

Join a dynamic surgical critical care unit treating patients from various specialties including neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, general surgery, orthopedics, and transplants. The unit accepts first-time travelers and provides a collaborative environment to enhance your professional skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer vaso-active drips, manage central lines, and provide care for patients with external ventricular drains (EVDs).
• Monitor and manage arterial lines and ensure effective wound care practices.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to assess and manage patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in neuro or surgical settings, with academic medical center experience.
• Current certifications: ACLS and BCLS are required.
• Experience in managing vaso-active drips, central lines, EVDs, and arterial lines is highly preferred.
• Epic electronic charting experience is required.
