Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Shift: 6:45pm - 7:15am

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit will provide high-quality care to patients with varying complexities and conditions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for patient assessments, implementing nursing care plans, and coordinating with medical professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct neuro and spinal checks.
• Perform C-Collar placement and manage TLSO braces.
• Administer blood transfusions and IV infusions.
• Manage PCA pumps, chest tubes, and lumbar drains.
• Assist with feeding tube placements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Experience in neuro and trauma care is required
