Job Description

Join our dynamic team in the Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit, caring for a diverse patient population with complex needs. The primary focus is on patients recovering from cardiovascular and vascular surgeries, as well as overflow medical cardiology patients. Your role will involve providing high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage care for patients recovering from CV and vascular surgeries such as CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR.
• Oversee cardiac medications and treatment protocols including IV gluccomander and cardiac gtt management.
• Perform chest tube and epidural management.
• Facilitate tube feedings and monitor patient conditions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have stepdown and telemetry experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Preferred: Prior experience in CV surgery and vascular surgery populations.
• CVICU experience is a plus.
