Registered Nurse - Night Shift Float

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with scheduled 12-hour night shifts from 1845 to 0715, averaging 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation. Please note there is no guarantee of hours.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will function as a float between various medical and surgical units, providing exceptional patient care. Candidates must possess a current Hawaii RN license upon acceptance of the offer, as medical and religious exemption requests will not be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across various units including Medical Unit, Laulima Unit, and Cardiovascular Unit.
• Administer medications and perform assessments on patients as required.
• Monitor and document patients’ conditions and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in unit-specific training and orientation programs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2-10 years of nursing experience required.
• Current Hawaii RN license is mandatory by the start of the assignment.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC preferred).
