Travel Registered Nurse - Med Surg

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med Surg nursing. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment while adhering to hospital policies and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in a Med Surg unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and updates on care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
• Participate in staff meetings and continuous education programs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active compact or AL RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• 1 year of Med Surg nursing experience.
• Cerner EMR experience preferred.
• Patient ratio of 6 to 1.
