Travel Registered Nurse - Med Surg

Schedule

Night Shift: 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Med Surg to join our team. This position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to individuals in a Med Surg setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and formulate nursing diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and progress in the electronic medical records system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Compact or AL RN License.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg experience.
• Cerner experience preferred.
• Ability to manage a patient ratio of 6 to 1.
