NICU Registered Nurse - Nights (4x12-Hour Shift)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts are from 19:00 to 07:30. Options available for either a 4x12 schedule with no call or a 3x12 schedule with a bi-weekly call requirement.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced NICU Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care for neonates in a high-acuity setting. The nurse may be required to float to other NICU units or facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for neonates with varied diagnoses, including HIE, RDS, and other congenital anomalies.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including full body cooling and surfactants.
• Monitor and document patient status using EPIC documentation system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Support patient family education and involvement in care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience (II and III).
• Current BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required.
• Active South Carolina RN license required.
• At least 1 year of EPIC experience is required.
