Job Description

The Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) is responsible for providing cardiopulmonary services, following protocols approved by the medical staff and department policies. This role involves both inpatient and outpatient care, assisting physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures.
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas.
• Maintain airways and manage ventilators.
• Perform intubations and blood gas analysis.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum experience in ICU, general floors, and emergency department.
• Basic knowledge of NICU and pediatric care required for ED coverage.
