Respiratory Therapist - 13 Week Contract Position

Schedule

Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, approximately 36 hours scheduled with 24 hours guaranteed, subject to cancellation by the facility.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist with a minimum of 24 months of experience, including recent experience within the last 12 months. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional respiratory care in accordance with department guidelines while being flexible to float as needed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and administer therapy to patients with respiratory conditions.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide quality patient care.
• Maintain and operate respiratory equipment safely and efficiently.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months RRT experience (with recent experience in last 12 months).
• Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• No hits on state license to practice.
• Active BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
