Respiratory Therapist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, with potential weekends, holidays, and float as needed per department guidelines.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist with a minimum of 24 months of recent experience. The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent respiratory care and support to patients.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and document changes in condition.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and equipment use.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of Clinical RRT experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months.
• Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• No hits on state license to practice.
• Active BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
