Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist with experience in ICU and ER settings, including pediatric patients requiring intubation and mechanical ventilation. The therapist will also work in the nursery and be part of the resuscitation team during high-risk deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients in ICU, ER, and nursery settings.
• Attend high-risk C-sections and participate in resuscitation efforts.
• Monitor and assess respiratory status of patients, including adults and pediatric patients.
• Operate and manage equipment such as Drager V500, Hamilton T-1 ventilators, and neopuff.
• Utilize EPIC documentation systems for accurate patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years experience in respiratory therapy, particularly in ICU and ER.
• Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is required.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS are mandatory.
• Experience with NICU and PICU preferred for comfort in treating critically ill pediatric patients.
