Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (alternatively, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for a travel position focusing on inpatient rehabilitation and acute care settings. The primary responsibilities involve providing intensive therapy services to stroke and orthopedic patients, ensuring they receive 3 hours of therapy per day to aid in their recovery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine patients' therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to facilitate patient recovery and rehabilitation.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Texas.
• Previous experience in inpatient rehabilitation or acute care settings preferred.
• Current certification in CPR/BLS.
