Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse to provide specialized care for patients aged up to 25 years, including epilepsy monitoring and complex patient needs. The ideal candidate will have substantial pediatric experience and a passion for caring for critically ill children.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in a critical care setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions meticulously.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health maintenance.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months combined permanent pediatric nursing experience.
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license required at time of submission.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Experience with ECG rhythm recognition and managing inotropes is preferred.
