LVN - MedSurg 4S - 13 Week Contract

Schedule

This position is for the night shift, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. There are no on-call requirements, and candidates are expected to work 4 shifts per month.

Job Description

The MedSurg 4S unit is a fast-paced environment dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will be responsible for supporting nursing staff, monitoring patient conditions, and assisting with daily activities, ensuring a high standard of care for patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs in the delivery of patient care
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Maintain communication with healthcare team and patients
• Provide support and education to patients and families

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS Certification
• At least 3 years of nursing experience preferred
• Previous hospital experience is a plus
