Shift: 19:00 - 07:00.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) on Med Surg 3E will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This unit specializes in the care of patients with neurological conditions, requiring the ability to manage a varied patient population effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients within a 28-bed unit.
• Monitor patient conditions using telemetry and other advanced medical equipment.
• Administer medications and assist with medical procedures according to best practices and protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 3 years or more of nursing experience, preferably in a Med Surg or Neurology setting.
• Experience with epilepsy care is highly preferred.
