Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry department. This role involves providing care to adult and geriatric patients with various medical conditions, including but not limited to total joint patients, surgical patients, and those with acute on chronic medical issues.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patient telemetry needs.
• Provide direct care to patients while maintaining a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6.
• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures as necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist in the orientation and training of new staff members as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience, specifically in telemetry.
• Current ACLS certification required.
• Ability to float to other units including IMC and ED as needed.
