Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

12-Hour Night Shifts with weekend and holiday requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will be able to manage very high patient ratios and provide exceptional care in a Level III Trauma Center setting with 30 beds/trauma bays.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Conduct assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Participate in competency exams and maintain up-to-date skills.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience preferred.
• Active NY RN License.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, COVID-19.
• Must pass competency exams with an 80% or higher.
