Schedule

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

36 hours scheduled with 24 hours guaranteed. Weekend, holiday, and float requirements per department guidelines.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced RNs to work in a Surgical Progressive Care Unit (PCU). Candidates must be willing to adhere to department-specific guidelines, including wearing navy scrubs and working weekends and holidays as required. This role will involve providing care to patients following surgical procedures in a PCU setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to post-operative patients.
• Monitor patient vital signs and provide appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimum patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about postoperative care and recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months.
• Active RN license with no hits.
• Current Life Support certifications (ACLS and BLS) from approved vendors.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
