Day shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurses to join our float pool. In this role, you will provide care across all inpatient units, including children, adolescents, and adults, demonstrating solid clinical judgment, assessment, delegation, and leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Float to various inpatient units as required, providing high-quality patient care.
• Utilize advanced clinical judgment and assessment skills to manage patient needs.
• Engage in effective delegation and leadership practices within the nursing team.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, developing and implementing care plans.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort, adapting care to meet the developmental needs of diverse age groups.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with 6 months to 1 year in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting.
• Current RN license in the state of Maryland.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
• Experience with Sunrise EMR is preferred.
