Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in telemetry and the ability to read rhythms, manage critical cardiac medications, and care for stroke patients.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes.
• Manage IV cardiac medications and continuous infusions.
• Provide care and support for the telemetry population.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold a valid New York State RN License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification can be obtained prior to starting.
• Minimum two years of nursing experience, with at least one year in telemetry or stepdown.
• Experience managing IV cardiac medications and familiarity with stroke care is preferred.
• Must pass a hospital-proctored test on rhythm identification.
