Surgical Technologist - Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular Surgery

Job Description

The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for providing high-quality surgical care in a dynamic environment. You will assist in various cases including cardiac surgeries (CABG, valve repair/replacement), thoracic surgeries (lung resections, esophagostomy), and vascular surgeries (AAA repair). The role requires strong expertise in surgical procedures and the ability to adapt to different specialties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and other medical personnel during surgeries.
• Utilize surgical instruments effectively and safely.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
• Participate in patient care before, during, and after surgery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Strong experience in Cardiac, Thoracic, or Vascular surgery is required.
• CST certification preferred; no new travelers or new clinicians accepted.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA).
